URBAN Photo Awards 2026
Trieste Airport

URBAN Photo Awards is an international photography competition based in Trieste, Italy, and a key project of Trieste Photo Days. It selects works by photographers from around the world and presents them through exhibitions and publications. In its 17th edition, Encounters was selected as one of eight portfolios from thousands of submitted images and was presented in an exhibition at Trieste Airport.

Through photography, it aims to expand the contemporary possibilities of Korean photography and serve as a platform for connecting international networks.

Held during the KYOTOGRAPHIE International Photography Festival in May, this group exhibition brings together twenty artists selected through an open call. Pitch and Toss explores the diverse currents of contemporary Korean photography, shaped by the intersection of differing perspectives and sensibilities. The participating artists move between everyday life and society, relationships and landscapes, each observing the world in their own way. Rather than arriving at a single clear conclusion, the works leave space for new questions and sensations within images that scatter and intersect, revealing the expanded possibilities of contemporary photography.

A Thousand Cameras is a public-interest program supported by Fujifilm and created in collaboration with documentary photographer Sung Nam-Hun to document Seoul through photography. As the capital of South Korea and home to millions of people, Seoul continues to change rapidly. The project aims to record the city as it exists today and preserve that record for tomorrow.

Seoul Publishers Table 2025

Seoul Publishers Table, launched in 2013, is the largest independent publishing fair in Korea. Through independent publishing, it has also become a celebration of people who have found the courage to bring their own stories into the world and share them with others. In 2025, the event was held at the National Library of Korea, with more than 200 participating teams and over 10,000 visitors.
